degree

In an industry where precision means everything, ThermalCraft wasn’t built on chance. We were built on purpose – deliberately assembled by bringing together the finest minds in thermal construction, each chosen for their mastery of the craft and unwavering dedication to excellence.

Steven Hansen

Steven Hansen, Principal, brings over 15 years of experience in cold storage construction to ThermalCraft. Steven's roots in cold storage construction run deep. Mentored by his father Steve Hansen Sr, an industry icon, he was immersed in the trade from a young age. He blends field experience with a sharp understanding of thermal details with project management expertise recently completing the largest box-in-box ever built in the US. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Controlled Environment Building Association (CEBA). Prior to ThermalCraft, he served as Vice President at Hansen Cold Storage Construction (acquired via private equity 2023), where he oversaw the development of some of the nation’s largest and most advanced cold storage facilities. When Steven is not hard at work, he can be caught surfing in Nicaragua, spinning the best tunes as office DJ, or spending time with his incredible wife Haley and Targaryen son.
